HoopStats Basketball Scoring App Reviews

Easy to use in a very fast pace game. Would like to see more info on stats. The Eff calculations also.

I have used this app to score over 200 games and it is the best app I have used. It works great!!! I am now starting my 4th year using this app. There are two issues that I see could use improvement. First: I do stats for my daughters high school teams and we also use MaxPreps stat reporting. I cannot upload from HoopStats directly to MaxPreps so that means I have to manually put the stats into MaxPreps. Second: They need to make the player buttons a little narrower so it will be easier to position a 3 point FGA along the sidelines. My fingers are too big for the little space. I started to use a stylist but during fast paced games that is still difficult to place the stylist in the corners.

This app is fantastic. All of the potential data really helps to see what your team is actually doing. No estimates or guesses on rebounds or turnovers. All the data is actual and quantifiable. It does need to be properly put in the app for it to work so a two person approach is helpful. It is well worth the money.

2nd year using it to track HS basketball Statistics - highly recommended

Ive tried different basketball stat apps, but nothing compares to this one. Easy to use, and make adjustments if there was a miss call. Just a dad in the stands, but a lot of the kids check in with me after the game to get the real story about the game. Thanks for adding to the fun of the game!!! Mark

I have tried several other apps and this is by far the best. User-friendly, and the manual/tutorials are very easy to understand. Easy to manipulate and to share. Now even better with the efficiency stat (EFF)

Love the app and its great to use at half time for adjustments in games.

Needs to have the ability to record offensive and defensive rebounds, and assists. Like the clear format and ease of use, just need to expand what can be recorded.

I love this app I been using it for 3years now and it just keeps getting better however I wish it had I spot for the poss. arrow

Love the app. The only change or addition Id like to see is groupings of players that played together, total time they played together, points against the group and points for the group. That would be extremely helpful addition to the already great application.

Great app. Easy to you. Always updating with newest suggestions - making it one of the best basketball stats app to own.

This is a great app! Would like to see addition of possession arrow and the change of event listing clock from iPad clock to game clock. This app is very easy to use. It tracks all stats and easily exports to email to share including shot charts. I recommend this to all as a must for every team!

Have used the app for three years and it has been great. I only wish it would compute year end stats for individual players.

The release that just came out has fatal flaws and will not load.

Restarting iPad didnt help. Up to date version of iOS and iPad 2

Excellent app till u broke it with Saturdays update! Cant score 2nd half now. Please fix.

I need to preserve the data (games), but the app just crashes every. time - please fix!!!!

Good app - even better when they stop with the updates that are creating issues with an app that was working just fine for me. Well worth the money.

Last 2 updates have caused some major issues. Before those I loved the App. 2 updates ago app crashed when attempting to add a new team. Lost all data from 2 years of 4 teams. Now with latest update (1.9) making subs with 5 min or less remaining in game causes app to shut down. Also prior to this update you could select player on court and then sub with a couple key strokes compared to several now.
